Copies of the 2019 Proposed Mission Spending Plan are available in the narthex and from the table in the sanctuary. Please take one for review prior to the congregational meeting. If you have questions on the mission spending plan please email them to Mark Hollen prior to the meeting.
Sometimes called Blue Christmas or sometimes called the Longest/Darkest Night Service, this is a service that is set up to help those who are struggling with loss or pain during the season. We will look for hope and help through the scriptures, through song, and reflection. There will be opportunities to light candles of remembrance, a time of anointing, and space for meeting God amidst the struggle. Kathy Brown will deliver a special message and special music will be offered by Fara Biesecker.

The CROP Walk is Sunday, October 14th!
The 47th Annual Waynesboro Area CROP Hunger Walk will begin with registration at 1 PM and the walk at 2 PM. The walk will be held on the walking path along the new Washington Township Boulevard and will feature a 2 mile and a 5 mile route. The walk will begin and end at the soccer fields on the corner of Washington Township Boulevard and Country Club Road.
In order to try to encourage more participation in this vital ministry, we will be promoting a little “friendly competition” among area churches. We will be awarding what will become an annual affair, a “traveling trophy” for the church that has the most walkers participate in the walk and one for the church that raised the most money for Church World Service. Trinity UCC won both trophies last year so let’s see if we can keep them for another year!
Chanda Thompson is the TUCC CROP Walk Coordinator.
