Because of our love of God who first loved us, we empower disciples to let their lights shine through love of neighbor, love of children, and love of creation.
As Jesus modeled first for us, we are working to create a just world where all are welcomed, all are loved, and all are included.

Soup for a Cause!
It’s Souper Bowl Sunday time!
Once again, the JWM team is selling soup in quarts and pints, which will be available after morning worship on February 3rd. This year the proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity, since a number of the team members will be assisting with construction of a house here in Waynesboro this coming year.
There will be: vegetarian minestrone, sausage tortellini, mild chili, Five-Alarm Chili (courtesty of Pastor Bruce), chicken tortilla, ham and bean, and chicken corn. Please sign the sheet on the table in the sanctuary and indicate how many quarts ($10) or pints ($5) of each kind you would like to purchase. Money will be due at pick up.
Trinity’s Justice and Witness Ministries has teamed up with Waynesboro Community and Human Services to provide quarterly birthday parties for the infants and toddlers who utilize the Diaper Depot at the WCHS center.
On February 9th, from noon to 2 P.M. in the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library community room, members of the JWM team will be volunteering to help run the first party.
How can you help? We knew you would ask! In addition to the JWM team making cupcakes, we have been asked to also provide kid-friendly individual healthy snacks, such as Goldfish, pretzels, fruit snacks, applesauce pouches, raisins, animal crackers, etc. If you would like to donate those types of snacks, please bring them to the church office no later than Friday, February 8th. If you would like to assist the JWM team during the party, please see Chanda Thompson or Deb Hollen for more details.
Thanks in advance for your generous hearts!
