The Justice and Witness Ministries Team members are spearheading a mission trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to repair homes, (low-income housing/senior citizens’ housing), that were flooded in the torrential “1000 Year Flood” of 2016. The group will stay at a bunkhouse on a horse farm in Denham Springs, LA, and work through the Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders to do interior work, (painting and repairs). The trip is set for June 23-July 1. Anyone seeking to help make a difference is encouraged to join the group. Contact Carol Mowen in person or via email (carolmowen@comcast.net). The minimum age is 16, and any teen who wishes to go will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
