Morning Worship, July 31, 2016

Trinity's Praise Band provided a "Praiselude" of two songs and a third song as the special music selection following the sermon. Special thanks to guest organist Charlene Good.

Special thanks also go to Dani Kardisco for substituting with the Praise Band and to the Praise Band members who were with us today, including Gillian Hollen, Andrew Mowen, Nick Adams, Nick Mowen, Fara Biesecker, Karen Adams, and Carol Mowen.

Feed, Tend, Feed. That's the title of the sermon that was delivered by Pastor Bruce Druckenmiller, but you'll have to listen to see what yellow rubber duckies (and plastic frogs, too) have to do with it. Nick Mowen gave the morning announcements, and the scripture lessons were read by Carol and Art Warnick and Jerry Birt. Following the sermon, Gill Hollen provided special music, "For the Beauty of the Earth."

Here is the audio from today's service. Nick Mowen provided the announcements. Today's service included a celebration of the ministry of Trinity Nursery School. Kay Fitz, director of the preschool program, brought her students to church to share two special songs with the congregation, and Pastor Bruce shared a post-Easter message.

Sunday, March 27, 2016 (Easter)

Our final visitor, Mary Magdelene (portrayed by Teresa Needham) arrived to announce the empty tomb on Easter Sunday at Trinity. Pastor Bruce R. Druckenmiller and his son Andrew played trumpet with the opening and closing hymns, and the handbell choir accompanied the senior choir, then played an offertory with the organ. Pastor Bruce shared a new take on the Easter story by weaving in some Disney magic....from the movie "Frozen." The service ended with Trinity's traditional "Hallelujah Chorus" with visitors joining the choir. Unfortunately, we had a technical snafu and are unable to provide a recording of this service.

Palm Sunday at Trinity included many special moments, starting off with Pastor Bruce playing his trumpet with the opening organ prelude played by Carol Ann Day.  The children processed with palm branches and the paralytic (portrayed by Andrew Mowen) visited during the call to confession. Following the sermon, the children's choir and handbell choir joined the senior choir for a special Palm Sunday anthem.
